Vintage 32" Long Crosscut Saw - Handsaw - Deer and Mountain Scene - Plasma Art - Lodge / Cabin Decor

$185.00
Vintage - Antique 32" Crosscut Saw with Steel Handle with Raised Mountain and Deer Scene.

Another barn find repurposed to a piece of art to last decades longer! This saw has been sitting in our shop for a while awaiting an inspiration to suit it's unique shape and style. We think this design with it's heat colored patina blended perfectly with the decades long rich rust patina was it.

The saw measures 32" long and is heavy with the basket weave steel handle which is a rare find. The steel mountain and deer scene has been plasma cut by hand from thick 16 gauge steel. Polished and then heat treated to bring out rich amber and blue hues within the steel. The scene is then welded to the saw using 5/8" long stand offs to give a raised detail.

The heat coloring added to this piece takes on different colors under different angles of light making a unique one-of-a-kind item. No two pieces are ever alike. It is often referred to as painting by fire.

Our pieces are handcrafted from start to finish and no two will ever be exactly the same.

Our craftsman - artist is a retired metal fabricator who spends hours designing, building and finishing each piece.

You may also request a custom piece to your needs and we will be more than happy to work with you!
